As a proud volunteer with my local Country Fire Authority (CFA) fire-brigade, I work closely with the local community, business, and government authorities to engage the local and general public, to raise their awareness about fire safety and CFA’s values. We had a busy 2019/2020 summer.

2020 Good Friday Appeal Virtual Tin Shake
This year, we are doing things slightly differently. For the interest of the public’s and CFA members’ health and safety amid the COVID-19 outbreak,
we are ‘shaking’ our tins online!!
Although there have been a lot of changes with the way we live our lives and interact with each other, the good spirit of the Good Friday Appeal stays.
The value of being kind and generous to each other, helping the most vulnerable who are in need, have become more relevant in a time of crisis and great uncertainty.
It is crucially important for us to continue with such a great tradition, in a creative way, to extend our supports to those most in needed in our lives.
